I got a tune from 5 Star Tuning mostly because I wanted better throttle response, and yeah, it definitely helped. The car feels quicker when I get on the pedal and not as lazy driving around town. Took a little bit to get everything sorted out, but overall I’m happy with it. I’d give it 4 stars...

I assumed the emissions details would be listed in the usual places, but I ended up clicking around more than I expected to find them. It’s there, just not as clear or easy to spot as I thought it would be.

I was expecting at least a little bit of frustration setting this up, but it was almost suspiciously easy. I’m not super techy, and I still had it up and running on the first try with basically no trouble. The menus actually made sense, which feels like a small miracle these days, and everything worked right away.

Got my order from 5 Star Tuning and figured I’d knock the install out fast. Yeah… not exactly. The main stuff made sense, mostly. A few steps were clear enough, then suddenly I’d hit a part where I was just staring at it like, alright, now what?

Ended up taking longer than I planned. Had to poke around, double-check things, kind of piece it together as I went. It wasn’t a nightmare or anything, and I did get through it, but I wouldn’t call it super easy either. More of an okay install with a few annoying pauses.

I came across 5startuning.com while kind of shopping around and comparing prices, and they seemed a bit cheaper than a few other sites I checked. The parts showed up more or less as expected, and for what I paid, I’m happy with it. Seems like a good value overall, and I’d probably order from them again if I end up needing more upgrades.

When I needed help, they were there quick, which was nice. No big hassle or anything, just got it sorted for me fast.

Not sure if it was something with the tune or what, but after getting it done my transmission started shifting rough. Maybe there was more to it, I don’t know, but I kind of wish I’d just left it stock.

I had to reread the instructions a couple of times before I really understood what to do. Maybe it was just me, but they felt kind of unclear. Did anyone else have the same issue?

I shot them a message with a quick question and they got back to me fast. Super easy, no sitting around waiting forever or anything. Chill experience overall

I used their tuning software last week, it was easy to figure out. The menus made sense, my file loaded fast, and I wasn’t sitting there, guessing what to click next.

So yeah, the tune technically worked and the car runs fine, which is cool I guess, but I was expecting way more. Everyone talks about these gains like it’s going to completely wake the car up, and for me it was basically just… okay? No major problems or anything, but the extra power felt minimal. Maybe my setup just isn’t the right one for it, or maybe it works better for other people, but I’m a little disappointed. I didn’t expect magic, but I did expect to feel more than this.

Ordered one thing. Got totally different parts. Contacted support. Took forever to hear back. Still not fixed. Frustrating.

I had a little issue after placing my order, nothing huge, but still one of those things you want sorted quickly, and they got back to me fast. It didn’t turn into some long back-and-forth or feel like a hassle, they just helped me out and got it fixed. So yeah, happy with the support overall.

You know when you’re kind of bracing yourself for things to be confusing or awkward, and then it’s just... fine? That was basically my experience. I reached out about this issue, but it still hasn’t really been fixed. The replies were slow, and I kept having to follow up on it myself. Just not happy with how the whole thing was handled

The site looks good and the tuning options are easy enough to understand, but I came away feeling like I still needed more. I don’t know, I just expected to see more real dyno numbers or actual customer results to back things up.

Some of the performance claims feel believable, and maybe they really do hold up, but it’s hard to feel fully confident without seeing how they play out on different cars. It left me kind of unsure, even though nothing looked obviously bad.

Overall, it seems decent, but I’m not all the way convinced yet. For me it lands around 3 stars until there’s more proof from real users, because I just have a strong feeling that the results could vary a lot.
